Monmouth This pedigree was annotated Monmouth as again, it is where the line commenced but it has since been linked into the Great Hidden pedigree. A Monmouth man, John Jeffery Beckingham born circa 1817 married Mary Elliot at Monkwearmouth, Co Durham in 1839. He gave his father as Thomas Beckingham, a husbandman. As the generations have elapsed, the Beckingham surname has, through local accents and dialect, now evolved into BECKERAM and finally BECKRAM.
